The Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is an internationally recognized competency-based certification which testifies to your competencies, skills, and proficiency in the field of Business Analysis. This level three certification from the IIBA® also demonstrates your commitment to the profession, which is an important aspect for employers.

Through the CBAP Boot Camp, certification candidates will receive the guidance and resources they need to pass the certification exam. In addition to covering materials from the BABOK® Guide v3, this course will equip you with additional resources as well as study and exam taking strategies to help you ace the exam the first time.

What are the prerequisites?

While there are no prerequisites for attending this CBAP training course, you need to meet the following requirements to be eligible for certification examination:


  • Complete a minimum of 7,500 hours of Business Analysis Work experience in the last 10 years
  • Within this experience, a minimum of 900 hours completed in 4 of the 6 BABOK® Guide Knowledge Areas, for a total of at least 3,600 of the required 7,500 total
  • Complete a minimum of 35 hours of Professional development in the last 4 years
  • Provide two references
  • Agree to Code of Conduct
  • Agree to Terms and Conditions
  • Pass the exam

What is BABOK® Guide?
BABOK® Guide is developed by IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis). The current version is 3. It consists of the best practices, processes, terminologies, and acceptable guidelines in the business analysis field. It is used in the creation of the CBAP® training course and certification examination.
When will you receive your CBAP® Certification?
Candidates will receive the exam results immediately after submitting the exam. However, the official result through email will be received after two business days.
What does the CBAP® exam cover?
CBAP® Exam will test you in the following domains:

When will my certificate expire?
CBAP certification expires in 3 years. To maintain the credential, continuing competence must be demonstrated every 3 years through 60 Continuing Development Units (CDUs.).
